Virginia Men’s Rowing is overseen by its board of directors. Its nineteen members include the 1989 National Book Award winner, the former CEO of a Fortune 500 company, a candidate for the United States Senate, several attorneys, several veterans of the armed forces, a computer programmer, our head coach, and the current captain of the crew. The board of directors oversees the operations of the crew, hires the head coach, approves the budget, makes policy, and raises funds for the team.
